Support research teams by streamlining technology use and serving as a technology liaison
Assist with onboarding scientific equipment and enabling data flows
Integrate scientific equipment and automate data flows
Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with researchers and vendors
Maintain documentation and knowledgebase articles
Operate and maintain 3D printers (Stratasys PolyJet, Prusa FMD)
Support prototyping and automation efforts under guidance from senior team members
Contribute to hands-on innovation projects in the Makerspace
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience in enterprise application support, IT service desk, or similar
OR High school diploma or associate degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience
General IT troubleshooting
Network onboarding
Exposure to CAD design and 3D modeling
3D printing basics for filament-based printers
Experience operating 3D printers (Stratasys PolyJet, Prusa FMD) preferred
Interest in robotic automation and Makerspace environments
Strong communication skills
Collaborative, inclusive, and proactive mindset
Eagerness to learn and contribute to innovative projects
Must live in the Kansas City metro area
