💰 $90,000 - $145,000 per year
About the role
- Design thermal, chemical, vacuum, and electro-mechanical tools and systems for superconducting magnet materials and supporting systems
- Work with CFS (engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing) teams and suppliers to deliver prototype and production machinery/equipment that meets design specifications
- Perform dimensional and tolerance analysis on designs and drawings to ensure they support the functional needs of the design and suitability for the intended fabrication process
- Create and modify designs (models and supporting drawings) in NX and Teamcenter. Support the engineering team by providing design, drafting and engineering releases
- Have technical depth and proven experience with ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Design and release components and assemblies
- Assure that CAD designs and documentation comply with industry and internal CAD standards. Be part of a matrix organization as a member of the CAD Team reporting to a CAD Team Leader/Manager
- Work within a multi-disciplinary and proven team of top scientists and engineers to support our functional team onsite in Milpitas, CA where we specialize in High-temperature superconductors
Requirements
