AI Engineer

• Define and evolve the standards, architecture patterns, and tooling choices that govern how engineers use AI across the codebase — including where to invest in codebase readiness (instrumentation, specification, evaluation) versus targeted rewrites.
• Own execution of the multi-milestone plan (readiness → validated → governed) applied to corgi and secondary repos, in partnership with squad leads — without being their manager.
• Decide what AI tooling, agent infrastructure, and evaluation pipelines the org needs, and build or oversee the build of the ones that don't exist yet.
• Set the policy and technical controls for where human-in-the-loop review is required versus where autonomous agent action (PR review, deployment) is safe — resolving the tension between adoption speed and security/quality risk.
• Write the guidance engineers actually use — AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md conventions, review norms for AI-generated code, eval standards — and make sure it's adopted, not just published.

• Develop and communicate an AI strategy that has wide alignment and support across the organization.
• Build and maintain an iterative roadmap of AI transformation initiatives across and within our teams.
• Develop a robust AI learning program, including regular ‘step change’ training and frequent AI demos relevant to each team.
• Infuse the organization with frequent insights into developments in AI relevant to each team, and push all of us to grasp what’s already possible, or coming soon.
• Own the AI transformation operating cadence — run the meeting rhythm and reporting forums (AI-Exec, AI-PD, and related working groups) that keep teams aligned on sequencing and dependencies.
• Come in with ‘big ears’ and proactively listen to ICs on the ground before recommending major changes — map what’s actually happening versus what leadership believes is happening, and deliver candid recommendations on where AI adoption stands and should be going.
• Partner with Engineering on tooling operations — triage tool requests and keep the org current on the AI tooling landscape (without owning technical build decisions).
• Stand up the org’s first AI adoption and impact measurement framework.
• Build strong working relationships with the org’s existing AI leads as a thought partner.

• Change.org is searching for a Communications Specialist to expand the Change.org brand through earned media in French-language and conservative media markets.
• Develop and execute bilingual media strategies, pitching French-language and English national outlets across Canada.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, identify petitions to amplify, position petition starters for earned media opportunities, and conduct media prep.
• Serve as the team's lead on all French-language communications, managing inbound French-language media inquiries and producing bilingual press materials without requiring translation support.
• Build Change.org Canada's credibility and reach with conservative and centre-right audiences.

• Define the product vision and strategy — translate a complex, multi-stakeholder problem into a roadmap that sequences bets intelligently and makes clear what we are not building.
• Ship the MVP and iterate into product-market fit — own the end-to-end experience: how someone first encounters the platform, how they participate in a deliberation, how their input gets synthesized, and how the resulting policy positions reach decision-makers.
• Build an AI-native product organization — establish the workflows, tooling standards, and team norms that make AI the default mode of building. Model what AI-first product development looks like in practice: from how the team discovers user needs to how it ships, measures, and iterates.
• Build the measurement architecture — define what success looks like at every stage. Establish the metrics, feedback loops, and learning systems that tell us whether the product is working, what's driving engagement, and where to invest next. Move fluently between qualitative insight and quantitative rigor.
• Set the bar for product development — attract and develop builders who want to work on one of the hardest and most important product problems in the world. Establish the culture of craft, speed, intellectual honesty, and user obsession that defines how this team operates.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Own our financial planning and analysis end-to-end, building the reporting, models, and forecasts that leadership relies on to make decisions.
• Automate departmental and executive reporting, own end-to-end. Management reporting (departmental P&Ls, exec dashboards, monthly/board exhibits) runs on durable, repeatable, low-touch pipelines they built — not manual rebuilds.
• Operates the full financial model with minimal oversight and high executive trust. Runs the model you architect — including the revenue line from BI — and owns the expense side outright: opex, margins, variance.
• Architects AI-enabled FP&A workflows, not just uses AI. Systematically cuts manual effort and improves data quality, building processes that outlast any individual analyst.
• Strategic thought partner to leadership and budget owners. Partners directly with department leaders on spend — surfacing variances, flagging risks, bringing a point of view and driving accountability through influence (escalating decisions to you, not approving them).
• Translates the numbers into decisions. Turns variance and business-health analysis into clear, stakeholder-ready narratives that help non-finance leaders move faster.
