About the role

Ensure the day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
Administer and monitor installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Monitor and test application performance; identify bottlenecks and implement fixes with vendors and developers
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Assist in technical architecture design discussions and support discovery application integration/migration activities
Liaise with vendors and provide subject matter expertise to end-users; develop and deliver training
Reverse engineer and document legacy application architectures and translate business requirements into technical requirements
Contribute to Knowledge Management by creating and improving technical knowledge articles
Implement and support e-discovery tools (Relativity, Veritas eDP) and backend infrastructure including database and cloud management

Requirements

Ensure the day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and work with vendors and developers to implement fixes
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Assist technical architecture design discussions
Liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issues
Develop and provide training for end-users
Provide general support, subject matter expertise and advice on the use of electronic discovery tools and applications
Reverse engineer and document the as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systems
Analyze capabilities, interview and collect business requirements and translate into technical requirements
Support discovery application integration/migration activities
Contribute to Knowledge Management databases by creating and improving technical knowledge articles
Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM
Assist in the implementation of e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other review platform applications hosted in the cloud)
Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
Operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure Functions, Azure API Gateways, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateways
Operate and manage relational databases, MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher
Top Secret clearance required (as indicated in job title)
