About the role
- Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
- Administer and monitor installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain OS and application software
- Monitor and test application performance; identify bottlenecks and coordinate fixes with vendors and developers
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Assist in technical architecture design discussions and vendor liaison
- Develop and deliver end-user training and technical knowledge articles
- Provide general support and subject matter expertise for electronic discovery tools
- Reverse engineer and document legacy application architectures
- Collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Support discovery application integration and migration activities
- Implement and support e-discovery tools (Relativity, Veritas eDP, other review platforms)
- Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
- Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server and SQL Server platforms
- Deploy and manage cloud resources across Azure and AWS and virtualization with VMware
- Operate and manage relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance required
- Ensure day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
- Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance; identify bottlenecks and implement fixes with vendors/developers
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Assist technical architecture design discussions
- Liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issues
- Develop and provide training for end-users
- Provide general support, subject matter expertise and advice on the use of electronic discovery tools and applications
- Reverse engineer and document the as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systems
- Analyze capabilities, collect business requirements and translate into technical requirements
- Support discovery application integration/migration activities
- Contribute to Knowledge Management databases by creating and improving technical knowledge articles
- Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM
- Assist in implementation of e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other cloud-hosted review platforms)
- Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
- Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
- Operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure Functions, Azure API Gateways, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateways
- Operate and manage relational databases (MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher)
