About the role
- Ensure the day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
- Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance and work with vendors/developers to implement fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies for e-discovery systems
- Assist in technical architecture design discussions and document legacy architectures
- Liaise with vendors to address product issues and support implementations
- Develop and deliver end-user training and contribute to Knowledge Management articles
- Support discovery application integration, migration activities, and backend infrastructure
- Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server and SQL Server, cloud servers (Azure/AWS), and relational databases
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance Required
- Ensure the day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
- Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and implement fixes with vendors/developers
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Assist technical architecture design discussions
- Liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issues
- Develop and provide training for end-users
- Provide general support, subject matter expertise and advice on electronic discovery tools and applications
- Reverse engineer and document as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systems
- Analyze capabilities, collect business requirements and translate into technical requirements
- Support discovery application integration/migration activities
- Create and improve technical knowledge articles for Knowledge Management databases
- Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM
- Assist in implementation of e-discovery tools (Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other review platforms hosted in cloud)
- Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
- Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
- Operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure Functions, Azure API Gateways, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateways
- Operate and manage relational databases: MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher
