About the role
- Ensure the day-to-day availability and operational support of electronic discovery applications and related tools
- Administer, monitor, install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate fixes with vendors and developers
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies for discovery systems
- Participate in technical architecture design discussions and assist implementation planning
- Liaise with vendors on product issues and represent OGC needs
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users
- Provide subject matter expertise and general support on electronic discovery tools and applications
- Reverse engineer and document legacy application architectures
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Support discovery application integration and migration projects
- Contribute technical articles to Knowledge Management databases to aid issue resolution
- Implement and support e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Veritas eDP, other review platforms) in cloud environments
- Manage backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, configuration, and database operations
Requirements
- Ensure the day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
- Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and implement fixes with vendors and developers
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Assist technical architecture design discussions
- Liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issues
- Develop and provide training for end-users
- Provide general support, subject matter expertise and advice on the use of electronic discovery tools and applications
- Reverse engineer and document the as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systems
- Analyze capabilities, interview and collect business requirements and translate into technical requirements
- Support discovery application integration/migration activities
- Contribute to Knowledge Management databases by creating and improving technical knowledge articles
- Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM
- Assist in the implementation of e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other cloud-hosted review platforms)
- Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
- Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
- Operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure Functions, Azure API Gateways, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda and AWS API Gateways
- Operate and manage relational databases: MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher
- Top Secret clearance (required based on listing)
