About the role

  • Provide dedicated administrative support primarily to the Transaction Liability team and other underwriting teams
  • Manage the underwriting central inboxes and log new and renewal submissions on CFC’s internal underwriting system
  • Prepare various activity reports and spreadsheets as directed
  • Administer the department diary, chase outstanding items such as subjectivities, assist with invoicing and setting up new clients
  • Answer incoming calls and field queries as appropriate
  • Review and amend transaction documents including non-disclosure and hold harmless letters
  • Work with existing support functions to ensure timely progression of transactions from initial submission to policy binding (administrative aspects)
  • Perform general ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Have you recently left or are due to leave higher education with outstanding results in a commercial subject like Law, Economics or Accounting?
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of mergers and acquisitions (preferable)
  • Background in law, business, finance or related study preferred
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times
  • Excellent level of attention to detail including accurate written and numeracy skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Word and particularly Excel
  • Working proficiency in Spanish, French and/or Italian
  • Entry level role — no prior insurance experience required
