About the role
- Some roles allow you to be more impactful than others. CFC are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our growing global Finance team, based out of our Melbourne office.
- Provide financial management, strategic insights, and operational support to CFC Australia's insurance underwriting business, helping manage and drive significant growth plans.
- Oversee all accounting, controls, and tax for CFC Australia's operations (including a Cyber Security company and nascent Claims entity), ensuring regulatory compliance and managing external audits.
- Collaborate closely with Group Finance at global HQ in London.
Requirements
- Hold a professional accounting qualification (such as CPA) and have studied a related field to degree level or equivalent
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering collaboration and development
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
