About the role

  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales goals and penetration of the Medicare book of business
  • Travel within market to engage with local community based organizations, providers, brokers and agencies
  • Investigate and respond to escalated issues for assigned accounts
  • Participate in and conduct Medicare product training
  • Develop best practices and implement them based on local market conditions
  • Maintain strong familiarity with competition, market environments, and healthcare economics
  • Build relationships internally with various departments and teams
  • Serve as subject matter expert in growing Medicare product lines
  • Submit reports upon request and in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Healthcare, Medicare, CMS Regulations and/or Management
  • Prior experience working with brokers/agents preferred
  • Territory management experience preferred
  • Active, valid and unrestricted State Life, Health & Disability license (or obtain within 45 days for certain entities)
  • Valid driver's license (required for Medicare/Commercial Solutions)
  • Ability and willingness to travel (minimum 75% field-based; overnight travel may be required)
  • Must be based within a commutable distance to Fresno, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, or San Francisco counties and able to travel across the state as needed
