About the role
- Meet or exceed assigned annual sales goals and penetration of the Medicare book of business
- Travel within market to engage with local community based organizations, providers, brokers and agencies
- Investigate and respond to escalated issues for assigned accounts
- Participate in and conduct Medicare product training
- Develop best practices and implement them based on local market conditions
- Maintain strong familiarity with competition, market environments, and healthcare economics
- Build relationships internally with various departments and teams
- Serve as subject matter expert in growing Medicare product lines
- Submit reports upon request and in a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in Sales, Healthcare, Medicare, CMS Regulations and/or Management
- Prior experience working with brokers/agents preferred
- Territory management experience preferred
- Active, valid and unrestricted State Life, Health & Disability license (or obtain within 45 days for certain entities)
- Valid driver's license (required for Medicare/Commercial Solutions)
- Ability and willingness to travel (minimum 75% field-based; overnight travel may be required)
- Must be based within a commutable distance to Fresno, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, or San Francisco counties and able to travel across the state as needed
