About the role
- Plans, conceptualizes, configures, and builds SQL solutions that solve common challenges
- Conducts research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs and drive strategy
- Oversees the development process and collaborates cross-functionally with multiple teams and specialists
- Design, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of solutions
- Writes SQL code for software programs and applications using inheritance and virtualization following best programming practices
- Performs complex research and analysis to find best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems
- Conducts meetings to gather requirements and provide project updates
- Maintains communication with stakeholders during solution development
- Collaborates with peers on development and solution strategy and performs regular code reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Solid SQL skills and frameworks development experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, such as Power BI
