• Develop and execute the comprehensive market entry and growth strategy for the proxy business across Zambia.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities, high-growth commercial sectors, and untapped customer segments for our existing service lines.
• Drive the commercial pipeline to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets, client acquisition quotas, and local market share milestones.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor movements, and shifting regulatory developments to adapt our commercial positioning.
• Build, nurture, and maintain high-yield relationships with key enterprise clients, strategic partners, and local stakeholders.
• Lead commercial discussions to negotiate contracts, pricing frameworks, and service level agreements (SLAs) that protect profitability.
• Serve as the primary, high-touch local point of contact and escalation path for major corporate accounts within the country.
• Establish formal partnerships with local businesses, third-party service providers, agents, and relevant regulatory bodies to build local brand credibility.
• Oversee daily local operations to ensure seamless delivery of proxy services, identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks rapidly.
• Collaborate closely with regional leadership and global headquarters to ensure absolute alignment on backend systems, compliance frameworks, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and present regular strategic reports tracking sales pipelines, KPIs, regional growth, market insights, and localized risks to the senior executive team.

• Manage the performance of services to clients as per agreed contract and ensure that unplanned downtimes are eliminated and/or their impact reduced

Senior Engineer – Technical Support

Engineer

• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to ensure efficient and effective solution operation.
• Responsible for solution monitoring, troubleshooting tasks and providing technical support in adherence to the established procedures.
• You will be the primary point of contact for all SLA customers which involves continuously seeking solutions for current issues, proactively improving processes and tools while building people's technical capacity to deliver on the team’s goals.
• Responsible for leading and driving activities in the assigned support shift as guided by key processes in order to meet and maintain service levels and improve customer delight.

Backend Engineer

• Develop and maintain backend features and ensure existing systems run smoothly.
• Collaborate with frontend and API engineers to define and implement RESTful API specifications.
• Build and deploy microservices using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Write testable, efficient, and reusable code using test-driven development (TDD).
• Participate in Sprint Planning, track work items, and deliver high-quality results.
• Fix bugs promptly and approach complex problems methodically.
• Contribute to architecture and code reviews to ensure scalable and performant solutions.

Software Engineer – Backend

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Assist in fiscalising customer invoices, dispatching statements and receipting payments.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone calls, emails and physical visits where necessary.
• Assist in resolving customer payment queries and obtaining proof of payments.
• Support month-end collections to ensure outstanding balances are reduced.
• Assist in reconciling customer accounts.
• Help maintain accurate customer records and payment tracking schedules.
• Assist in vendor onboarding tasks.
• Monitor the accounts payable mailbox for incoming invoices and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of the weekly payment schedules and distribution of remittance advice to vendors.

• Update the daily and weekly cash summary.
• Track expected receipts and planned payments.
• Assist the Finance Supervisor with cash flow monitoring and reporting.

• Assist in the collation of bank statements and preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Assist with sales order validations and reconciliation where required.
• Follow up on staff travel expenses and retirement of travel advances and review of supporting documents and receipts are submitted.
• Assist with data entry and updating finance records.
• Support the Finance Supervisor with daily finance tasks.
• Assist in improving filing, tracking and finance administrative processes.
• Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Supervisor.
