About the role

  • Drive the success of SCM applications by leading projects from inception to completion
  • Define, document, and manage project requirements, use cases, and technical specifications
  • Create comprehensive test cases and user guides; develop and trace test cases from requirements
  • Execute tests and manage defects; ensure high-quality solutions
  • Formulate and manage project plans: define deliverables, identify milestones, review progress, and manage risks
  • Coordinate and direct all functional groups involved in projects to meet objectives on content, quality, costs, and schedules
  • Provide timely and accurate project information and status updates to team members and customers
  • Resolve project-related issues with clients; establish and document client meetings regarding project issues and phases
  • Be accountable for quality of work delivered by external suppliers as applicable
  • May lead a work group or project team and provide advice and guidance in area of specialty
  • Perform data analysis and SQL tasks to extract, manipulate, and analyze data; support system integrations and architecture understanding

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Expertise in Requirements Definition & Management (Functional & Non-Functional)
  • Proficiency in Use Case Modeling and Process Mapping
  • Ability to Develop and Trace Test Cases from Requirements
  • Hands-on Experience with Test Execution and Defect Management
  • Data Analysis and SQL proficiency to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
  • Understanding of System Architecture and Integrations (APIs)
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Systems (ERP, CRM) and Cloud Technologies
  • Software design knowledge (Agile, SDLC, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and platforms
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management processes
  • Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle DB, SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Knowledge of build & development best-practices/tools (e.g., Use of SVN, IDEs, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies
  • Knowledge of various web servers (IIS, Apache, IBM http server) and application servers (IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat) would be considered an asset
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, professional and a team player
  • Occasional overnight travel is required
