About the role
- Support alignment of business initiatives with employees and management for assigned line of business
- Serve as strategic HR partner to leadership in assigned line of business
- Coordinate ADA accommodations and return-to-work process for end-to-end case management
- Support short-term and long-term medical accommodations and return-to-work plans
- Recommend transitional/temporary work assignments and long-term accommodations based on restrictions and essential functions
- Provide guidance, assess risk, resolve issues, and escalate complex cases as appropriate
- Interpret and apply State, Federal, and agency standards and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Three (3) years of experience leading a business unit or operating in a HR generalist/business partner related capacity
- Expertise in federal and state leave laws and regulations
