About the role
- Facilitate and provide direct therapeutic interventions consisting of group and individual therapy
- Develop treatment plans and design and implement effective interventions and strategies to promote therapeutic recovery
- Complete required documentation such as treatment and discharge plans, psycho-social history, daily progress notes, insurance forms
- Maintain close communication with the student's guardians to monitor and promote progress
- Provide school-based services at educational entities throughout Chester County, PA
- Work 7.5 paid hours per day following the academic calendar year
Requirements
- PA licensed mental health professional required (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
- A Master's Degree required
- At least one year experience in a CASSP system, school, or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency
- Documented training and experience in positive behavior supports
- Documented training and experience in team coordination and agency collaboration
- Documented training and experience in applied and cognitive behavioral counseling
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (current within 12 months)
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (current within 12 months)
- PA Department of Education FBI clearance (Use code 1KG6XN)
- TB Screening (current within 3 months)
- Education Documentation - diploma OR official transcripts from graduate program
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Active license through the PA Board of Medicine in one of the following areas: LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC
