  • This is a completely WFH opportunity, where you’ll come in and help us lead and set the direction of our fast-growing company. We’ll need someone who can work ET hours.
  • About the role: We are looking for a COO to help lead and scale our fast-growing company. You will be the operational backbone, driving strategic execution, ensuring we maintain our culture at scale, and making sure every part of Pearl is running at peak performance.
  • Metrics Accountable For: - Company revenue growth and profitability targets - Client retention and satisfaction rates - Talent placement success and retention rates - Operational efficiency metrics (time-to-fill, process optimization KPIs) - Team performance and engagement scores
  • Purpose of Your Role: Help our department heads lead their departments with speed, precision, and quick iterations. Remove founders involvement in week to week department work so they can build one year into the future while you guide the day to day.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in senior operations or leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling teams and operations 0→1 and 1→10+
  • Experience managing P&L and driving profitability while maintaining quality
  • Background in recruitment, staffing, or professional services is a plus
  • Experience working with global teams and remote-first environments
  • Deep understanding of building culture in fast-moving companies
  • Operational Leadership: Build and optimize systems, processes, and teams to ensure scalability.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, revenue targets, and cost structures to maintain and grow profitability.
  • Client Success Alignment: Ensure clients have an exceptional experience and that our talent matches drive measurable results.
  • Team Building: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performance team aligned with Pearl’s values.
  • Strategic Execution: Work directly with founders to translate vision into action, prioritizing key initiatives and ensuring they’re executed at a high level.
  • Culture Stewardship: Maintain and scale our “team over everything” culture as we grow rapidly.
