Community Manager

• Define what makes Catchafire’s volunteer community unique and valuable, mapping out tactics and making things happen.
• Execute campaigns and targeted outreach to engage new and existing volunteers, focusing on improving match rates and reducing the time it takes for nonprofits to “match” with a skills-based volunteer.
• Help to manage the overall content calendar and develop volunteer stories via blogs and sales enablement.
• Execute seasonal and program-specific activation campaigns to drive enrollment during key periods.
• Work with Product leads to balance the supply of available volunteers to meet the demand from nonprofits.
• Lead day to day management of our volunteer community across social media, email, and product to strengthen connections and retention
• Create recognition and milestone initiatives to celebrate and retain highly committed volunteers.
• Analyze trends in volunteer applications to identify and address areas of low volunteer engagement.
• Track and report volunteer engagement metrics, using insights to optimize programs for growth and scale.
• Present key volunteer engagement metrics and program outcomes to executive leadership.

• Manage the success of a portfolio of approximately 20 programs, hitting and exceeding their engagement goals
• Educate & onboard nonprofit professionals through webinars, workshops, 1:1 advising, and tailored support
• Facilitate peer learning groups for nonprofit leaders, building community and gathering feedback
• Represent the nonprofit voice in internal decision-making, ensuring offerings meet real-world needs
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual events and webinars
• Serve as a Nonprofit Advisor in 1:1 consultations
• Act as subject matter expert on nonprofit needs and deliver content
• Advocate internally for nonprofit needs
• Travel monthly for 2-3 day trips within the US

• Own top-of-funnel prospecting: identify and engage high-potential accounts via cold calling, personalized email sequences, and social selling
• Command the initial outreach and engage prospects to uncover grantmaking and community needs
• Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation and qualification targets
• Track and manage all outbound activities and prospect interactions within HubSpot
• Support early-stage client meetings to qualify prospects and attend online and in-person events
• Report to Head of Marketing and Communications as an individual contributor role
