About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end product strategy and delivery for a core area of Catchafire’s marketplace platform
Shape and scale the platform connecting pro bono professionals with organizations
Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis
Use AI tools to accelerate research synthesis and inform roadmaps, backlogs, documentation, user stories, flows, specifications, and test plans
Partner with design and technology leads, participate in running agile sprints, and deliver on timelines
Track feature performance against benchmarks and business goals using analytics
Identify opportunities for AI and machine learning to improve the product and team workflows
Introduce AI tools and workflows and build team fluency through shared practices
Shape AI capability within the broader platform roadmap
Translate technical tradeoffs into business terms and partner strategically with engineering and leadership
Report directly to the VP of Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with marketplace platforms and/or B2B enterprise software
Comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems, building systems, and shipping without heavy process scaffolding
5+ years in product management
Strong data-driven prioritization, systems thinking, structured problem solving, and roadmap development
At least one successful product launch at a growth-stage startup
Technical fluency and ability to work effectively with strong engineering teams
2+ years of hands-on experience designing, shipping, or iterating on AI or ML-powered product features
Clear judgment on when AI is and is not the right solution
Fluency using AI tools for research synthesis, specification writing, prototyping, and data analysis
Experience with large, strategic, or enterprise-level partners
Comfort presenting product strategy and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders
Experience running agile sprints and improving team velocity and collaboration
Strong qualitative and quantitative research aptitude
Hands-on experience with SQL, PostHog, FullStory, or Google Analytics
Fast learner with a track record of executing in fast-paced environments
Must not require employment visa sponsorship
