About the role
- Part-time (25 hours/week) Event Manager taking ownership of planning, execution, and success measurement of events.
- Manage events from trade fairs and sponsorships to executive-level (C-level) meetings.
- Ensure compliance with event process and develop new event concepts and formats.
- Act as project lead for diverse event types and manage external agencies and service providers.
- Drive event success by achieving defined KPIs such as generating new contacts and business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing (content, digital, operations, press), sales teams, and subject matter experts.
- Integrate events with other marketing disciplines ensuring relevant content and digital support.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders via internal and external channels.
- Conduct event reporting, gather participant feedback, and analyze outcomes to optimize event impact.
- Role begins with a trial period aiming to transition into long-term collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in marketing and communications with a focus on event management.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to stay calm and maintain oversight under pressure.
- Affinity for and understanding of technology and IT services (experience in IT environments is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Very good MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong drive to contribute fresh ideas and impulses.
