About the role
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
- Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results
- Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
- Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
- Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
- Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Performance Management
- At least 2 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform
- At least 1 years of experience with calculated fields or custom reports
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration
- Preferred: Experience working in an agile delivery environment
- Preferred: Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management)
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB’s)
