About the role
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) within HRIS for Workday Help
- Monitor case trends and system usage to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced user experience
- Support simple configuration request (e.g. notifications, announcements, or document distribution changes)
- Support testing strategy; create and execute test scripts for configuration changes, user acceptance testing (UAT), and Workday releases
- Analyze data for accuracy, conduct audits, and lead data cleanup initiatives to ensure ongoing data integrity
- Build and maintain both regular and ad hoc Workday reports, escalating to Tier III as needed
- Backup for Operations Analyst I for day-to-day triage of Workday inbox and help cases; provide Tier II support and escalate items as needed
- Provide technical guidance to Workday Operations Analyst I and support SMEs with testing and UAT approvals
- Manage Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) processes for mass data uploads, resolve import errors, and validate data accuracy
- Triage configuration requests within the HRIS support structure using Agile methodology, ensuring accurate routing and complete business requirements
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including case notes, internal procedures, and test plans
- Backup to Workday Operations Analyst I with security change requests, report access issues, assign security as requested, or escalate to the Security Administrator
- Report to the HRIS Manager and contribute to HRIS & Strategy Department initiatives
Requirements
- Associates degree
- Two (2) years of Workday experience supporting HCM in an operational manner or as a functional expert
- Three (3) years of experience supporting day-to-day HR and or HRIS operations, including employee data management via HRIS systems
- Ability to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies in data and take appropriate steps to clean and validate without supervision
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex cases and projects, with a focus on resolution and process improvement
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in virtual environment with remote teams
- Ability to exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data and business information
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred: Three (3) years of Workday experience supporting HCM in an operational manner or as a functional expert
- Preferred: Workday Pro Certification
- Experience with Workday reporting, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) processes, testing/UAT, and Agile methodology
- Employment contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required
- Proof of high school or GED completion required
- Minimum 18 years of age
