About the role
- Act as a connector and strategic partner to the Managing Vice President and Senior Leadership of Bank Tech Payments (organization of over 470 employees)
- Build cohesion and continuity across the Bank Tech Payments organization, towers and leaders
- Lead development and implementation of short and long term strategic programs for the organization
- Understand prioritization and delivery roadmap and identify cross-tower dependencies to manage impediments
- Influence matrixed stakeholder teams and drive organizational processes that enable success
- Partner with communications to enhance organizational brand and highlight strategic initiative impact
- Assess new projects for feasibility and create project and implementation plans
- Champion difficult or unpopular ideas and drive organizational change and operational excellence
- Serve as trusted advisor to stakeholders and leaders across the enterprise and use strong judgment to inspire collaboration
- Leverage Large Language Model tools to increase efficiency and operate with minimal direction on sensitive assignments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Program Management
- 5+ years of experience in strategy development (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in budgeting and labor strategy (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience partnering with engineering and product teams (preferred)
- Exceptional track record of building strong business partnerships
- Demonstrated success in critical thinking and problem solving
- Experience with complex analysis and ability to balance critical priorities
- Experience developing executive-ready presentations and telling a compelling story through data
- Curiosity and ability to leverage Large Language Model tools to bring efficiency
- Strong facilitation, negotiation and mediation skills
- Strong business judgment, influencing skills, leadership and integrity
- Meticulous organizational skills and follow-through; able to work with little direction on complicated, sensitive assignments
- Ability to champion unpopular ideas and influence matrixed stakeholders
