About the role

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and design strategic partnerships for the data security product
  • Identify, contact, and engage potential customers and partners, conduct thorough needs assessments, and tailor initial pitches to align with their specific requirements
  • Lead the proposal process for prospective customers and partners, including negotiation strategies, pricing structures, and competitive benchmarking
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for new customers and strategic partners, overseeing account activities, resolving issues, and identifying cross-selling opportunities for the data security product
  • Driving partnership discussions and contract negotiations with external partners
  • Track and report on the progress of customer acquisition and partnership development efforts, including lead management, pipeline growth, sales forecasting, and key performance metrics
  • Conduct in-depth market and industry analyses to pinpoint new customer segments and potential strategic partnership opportunities for the data security product
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Analysis, Infrastructure Development, and Operations Teams to create customized solutions and partnership packages tailored to the specific needs of new customers and partners, ensuring adherence to all obligations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Sales
  • At least 1 year of experience in new product development
  • Experience building data security or data protection product partnerships from initial evaluation through execution and ongoing management
  • Experience negotiating partnership agreements involving data security, privacy, or regulatory considerations in collaboration with legal and compliance teams
  • Experience creating and supporting market expansion or new product initiatives
  • Experience working with tech and SI partners to deliver joint value to end customers
  • Demonstrated understanding of data security market
  • 3+ years of experience with CRM and other GTM tools (for example: Salesforce or Zoominfo)
