About the role
- Overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of Capital One Software's international expansion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for legal counsel to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to adapt GTM materials
- Work with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements for internationalization
- Oversee all logistical aspects of international operations
- Act as the central hub for international expansion, coordinating efforts across all departments
- Develop and manage the budget for international operations
- Provide regular updates to the executive team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience in international project management, international legal compliance, or international operations at a regulated company
- At least 5 years in an international or global capacity within the software or technology industry
- At least 6 years in people management
- At least 5 years of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies experience
- Master's degree, Juris Doctor, or MBA preferred
- Experience in the B2B SaaS industry, preferably within the data management, data security, or cloud technology sectors
- Proficiency in multiple languages (some examples include: French, German, Spanish)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to understand the operational and legal complexities of global expansion, particularly in the EU / APAC region
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
