About the role

  • Design and layout the interior of a ~250-page book (25–30 chapters approximately)
  • Create print and digital cover design
  • Ensure all deliverables are ready for Amazon KDP (PDF interior + cover)
  • Collaborate with Cadencia’s team to align with the project’s vision
  • Work as a freelance, remote contributor based in Guadalajara

Requirements

  • Proven experience in editorial/graphic design, ideally with book projects
  • Strong portfolio showcasing layout and cover design
  • Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ability to deliver professional, print-ready files
  • Based in Guadalajara, available for remote freelance work
  • Eye for minimalist, elegant, and refined design styles
