💰 $55,000 - $65,000 per year
About the role
- Assisting the attorney in all aspects of each case
- Create reports and documents based on case specifications and requests
- Requesting and tracking medical and other records
- Preparing correspondence and basic motions
- Scheduling hearings, settlement conferences, and prehearings
- Scheduling medical appointments
- Organizing file materials and indexing medical records
- Docketing and calendaring deadlines and events
- Communicating with attorney/s regarding the status of tasks
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication, grammar, and spelling skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume office
- Workers' compensation defense experience preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, and Adobe is required
- Experience with Total Office and TABS is beneficial but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
