Customer Service Team Member – Seasonal Casual

Manager

• Responsible for the ongoing daily operations, sales and high-volume stock management within your specialist area
• Work closely with fellow Department Managers in such departments as Service, Inside the Home, Builders and Lifestyles & Garden whilst reporting directly to your Operations Manager and Complex Manager
• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment, while also performing duty manager responsibilities
• Monitor and measure customer service levels
• Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance
• Driving department sales through strong merchandising & monitoring of key metrics
• Own department stock accuracy including adjustments, replenishment discipline and loss prevention processes

Department Manager

• Responsible for the ongoing daily operations, sales, and high-volume stock management within your department
• Work closely with fellow leaders in various departments, reporting directly to your Operations and Complex Manager
• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment
• Coaching & Training team members on Best Service and Safety Standards
• Rostering and workforce planning for your team
• Action customer feedback to improve the end-to-end customer experience
• Managing daily stock flow, including seasonal campaigns, inventory & stock loss management

Operations

• Responsible for the ongoing daily operations, sales and high-volume stock management within your store
• Reporting directly to the Complex Manager
• Leading a team of 50+ direct reports to maintain an engaged and safe work environment
• Engage in regular safety walks and audits, fostering open conversations about risk and coaching safe behaviours across the warehouse
• Monitor department performance against sales, margin and wage targets and implement improvement plans where required
• Identify opportunities to drive sales through merchandising & strategic planning by supporting and developing Department Managers through regular coaching and performance feedback
• Drive stock accuracy routines, oversee adjustments, lead investigations into discrepancies, and provide strong leadership across all stocktake activities
• Monitor key metrics for Customer Satisfaction and Team Engagement, driving ownership and results
