💰 $65,000 - $70,000 per year
About the role
- Administer team member benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, wellness, life, and disability
- Coordinate wellness initiatives, annual enrollment, and monitor benefit data across HRIS and vendor systems
- Deliver customer service and guidance to team members on benefits, retirement, and leave policies
- Process and audit benefit invoices, administer wellness fund reimbursements, and identify cost-effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; maintain SPDs, SBCs and compliance notices
- Support leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, state leaves) and collaborate with third-party administrators
- Work remotely as part of a remote-first team; standard hours 8am-5pm Central Time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in benefits and leave administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other state/federal leave laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proven discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Vendor management and compliance knowledge (HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, ACA)
