Analysis/Comparison of Tax System Outputs including IRS 1220/1187 filings and tax form print files to identify differences/mismatches.
Analysis of detailed account, transaction, and other Tax related datasets to identify the root causes of the differences/mismatches.
Documenting discovered defects in detail within JIRA.
Monitor and maintain JIRA defects/stories based on work performed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather/develop requirements related to the JIRA defects/stories by writing clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
Partner with Onboarding and Testing team members to retest resolved defects and/or supplement the testing of resolved defects.
Translate feedback and insights from the analysis/research performed to drive continuous enhancements
Actively participate in and drive sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to effectively guide the development process.
Communicate regularly and build strong relationships with stakeholders to gather feedback, share updates, and address concerns.
Prioritize deliverables and responsibilities where necessary.
Communicate effectively and efficiently across departments, with staff, senior management, and clients.
Requirements
Experience with IRS Rules, Regulations and 1220/1187 Tax Form knowledge.
Experience with Income Reclass & Cost Basis.
Experience with Broadridge products
Strong Business analysis and Testing skills on tax products
Knowledge of Taxation Principles : Understanding of compensation theories, practices, and regulations.
Strong analytical skills
Detail oriented and well organized – ability to act decisively, prioritize workload and adhere to deadlines.
Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, including building analyses and models in Excel.
Experience with Power BI or SQL would be a plus.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to identify and resolve compensation-related issues.
