Serve as primary embedded Procurement representative working with Global Capital Project Engineering, Delivery and Site Engineering for Major capital projects (> $25MM)
Develop project sourcing strategies and procurement execution plans
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers (Construction Managers, AE, Project Controls, C&Q and subcontractors)
Develop subcontractor buyout strategies with Construction Managers
Oversee RFQ/RFP issuance, evaluate bids, and select contractors and suppliers
Develop procurement risk registers during preconstruction and assist with mitigation strategies
Monitor market trends and supply chain risks specific to construction and capital projects
Monitor project budgets and costs, assist with payments and co-manage change orders
Set up and maintain Autodesk preconstruction suite and support procurement documentation, workflows, tracking and reporting
Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders; provide regular documented updates on contract status
Monitor contractor and supplier performance; conduct site visits and inspections
Ensure health and safety requirements are included in contracts and adhered to on-site
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, laws, regulations, and standards
Requirements
Minimum education of a B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing procurement (or relevant) activities for capital or construction projects
Knowledge of construction sourcing best practices and contract management
Proven ability to leverage digital collaboration platforms for procurement and project management like Autodesk Construction Cloud platform (Precon, Build, BIM 360, Docs, etc.)
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills, particularly in construction
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with project teams
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
Experience developing procurement execution plans, Should Cost Estimates, RFQs and RFPs
Experience monitoring project budgets, payments, change orders, and contract variations
Familiarity with insurance, permits, and compliance for capital projects
