About the role
- Work on Frameworks delivering planned and reactive M&E engineering projects on water and wastewater sites in the region
- Support Project Managers in their projects across the region
- Quickly learn the full project management process and progress to ownership of work
- Travel to and from client sites and attend client meetings (client meetings take precedence)
- Spend initial months full-time in the office, then operate hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 days at home
- Analyse project performance and produce project reports
- Use planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and apply engineering principles and business acumen
- Act as Principal Contractor/Principal Designer on schemes and support Tier 1 contractors and off-site manufacturing as required
Requirements
- APM – Willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
- Appropriate qualification and a good understanding of engineering principals
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and strong business acumen
- Experience in using planning software such as Microsoft Project
- Ability to analyse project performance and produce project reports
- Full UK driving license and own car; driving to client sites will be part of this role
