Lead the advanced administration and configuration of cloud infrastructure and application code delivery on the cloud platform
Oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) and drive automation of complex deployment and administrative tasks
Ensure robust security of cloud components and application code through established CI/CD pipelines
Lead efforts to perform upgrades, enhancements, and software migrations for cloud infrastructure and application code
Facilitate the scalable deployment of cloud infrastructure and application code
Proactively optimize cloud services for performance, identifying and resolving issues
Strategically manage user permissions to ensure security
Design backup strategies to maintain data integrity

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
5+ years of relevant experience working across areas of the Platform engineering
5+ years of experience of cloud services and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
8+ years of cloud engineering experience, particularly in designing and implementing cloud platform solutions (preferred)
1 or more Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Developer for Apache Kafka (preferred)
