About the role
- Manage and expand customer accounts within the assigned territory
- Use market analysis data to develop and implement sales strategies
- Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in biotech and life sciences sectors
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management
- Conduct in-person visits with prospective and existing clients
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities in CRM tools
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Provide insights from the field to shape product development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related scientific field (preferred), or a degree in Business
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant sales or industry experience required
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a results-driven approach
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced, client-facing environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Familiarity and use of CRM platforms and sales reporting tools
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory
