About the role
- Assist Retail Marketing Manager in delivering effective promotional campaigns and marketing support for shop estate
- Take campaigns from inception to delivery and assess effectiveness
- Oversee briefing, delivery and execution of Retail Marketing campaigns as directed by RMM
- Act as main point of contact for Operations management and shop teams on marketing activity, displays, promotional instruction and queries
- Maximise communications to shop teams using email, SharePoint, conference calls and other tools
- Work on local promotions to drive business growth at specific shop level
- Assist HRM in wider business communications through the intranet SharePoint
- Manage SharePoint intranet site and deliver retail/wider business communications as required
- Work closely with Machines and BOYLE Xtra teams and suppliers to meet business needs and reflect wider business goals
- Build strong relationships with Central Operations team and suppliers to maximise shop ordering efficiency
- Make recommendations based on collated information relating to competitive shop activity
- Regularly visit BOYLE Sports shops and liaise with Broadcast Studio and Operations management teams
- Undertake additional duties as determined by the RMM
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in a Marketing-related subject is preferable but not essential
- Prior experience working in or supporting retail betting shops is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of betting shop operation
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Motivated to succeed in a hands-on and demanding environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team as a key member of the Marketing and Comms teams
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office portfolio
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient manager of SharePoint intranet and internal comms channels
