About the role
- Generate and follow up on leads through virtual channels (LinkedIn, email, video calls, phone)
- Develop and maintain referral sources through online networking, research, and outreach
- Conduct client interactions primarily through virtual meetings (Calendly, Zoom, Teams), calls, and emails
- Establish and maintain business relationships using CRM systems to identify and grow account opportunities
- Proactively research potential clients and engage with inbound sales & marketing to bring them into the sales funnel
- Report and analyze customer feedback and trends to support business improvements, automation, and learning opportunities
- Collaborate with senior BDMs, department heads, and team members on strategies and initiatives for business development
- Participate in structured training and ongoing coaching to build skills in client engagement, CRM use, and revenue growth strategies
- Assist senior BDMs with virtual meetings, networking, and outreach while progressively taking on more responsibility
- Support key projects and contribute new ideas to help achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Interest in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, customer-first approach with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Familiarity with CRMs, LinkedIn, or virtual meeting tools (a plus)
