About the role
- Provide research support for BGA Business Development Team and field offices
- Prepare and edit briefings, profiles, presentations, memos, and other materials
- Aid in the development of sector-relevant news updates
- Monitor relevant news items for client updates
- Cover events in the Indo-Pacific region and provide summaries
- Provide logistical support for BGA events in Washington
- Support the work of the BGA Business Development Team as needed
- Assist with data inputting and other administrative tasks
Requirements
- Strong research, analysis, writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of and/or experience with the Indo-Pacific region
- Industry specific expertise in finance, energy, IT, FMCG, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transport, media is a plus
- Excellent project management, problem-solving and self-sufficiency skills
- Computer competence with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, web browsing tools
- Familiarity with Salesforce and email marketing platforms is a plus
- Professional level English language skills
- High proficiency in one or more Indo-Pacific language(s) will be an advantage
- Both graduate students and undergraduate upperclassmen are encouraged to apply
