Customer Support

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for all new Boulder Care commercial enrollments
• Conveying policy benefit and eligibility information to patients in a comprehensive and professional manner
• Answering incoming questions from Boulder patients around balances due, non covered charges etc
• Assist our Enrollment Specialist and Care Navigator teams with difficult insurance verification details for newly enrolled and established patients
• Act as first point of contact for incoming patient messages, as well as internal requests for support
• Maintain ongoing dated eligibility checks for accurate billing and clean claims
• Collaborate with other teams to assist with patients who have lapsed coverage and need temporary financial assistance
• Serve as subject matter expert for internal insurance training
• Help develop and maintain standard processes that keep insurance data accurate and up to date in our EHR
• Identify and correct billing errors and resubmit claims to insurance carriers
• Research/rectify third party denials/edits, requests for information and other related correspondence
• Act as a key contributor to the Revenue Cycle by identifying and reporting inefficiencies and opportunities that enhance revenue flow, decrease denials, and minimize write-offs

Insurance Verification, Patient Support Specialist

Data Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics, operations, and reporting.
• Develop and manage data models, schemas, and warehouse structures (e.g., in BigQuery) to ensure data reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to implement efficient ETL/ELT processes that align with business and clinical workflows.
• Continuously optimize data architecture for scalability, cost-efficiency, and ease of use.
• Partner with analytics, product, and engineering teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support clinical, operations, finance, and growth teams by ensuring the availability and accuracy of high-quality data.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Partner with the SVP, Head of Finance to manage the company’s annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain robust financial models and performance dashboards to track KPIs and operational metrics.
• Establish and maintain a structured quarterly budget review process with department leaders to track spending, identify variances, and inform resource planning.
• Build and enhance financial models to support forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Prepare regular financial reporting packages for leadership and the Board, highlighting trends, key metrics, and actionable insights.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Senior Leadership Team and department leads on key business decisions and resource allocation.
• Provide actionable insights through analysis of operating performance, growth initiatives, and new markets.
• Develop scenario models and business cases to evaluate strategic opportunities, such as new partnerships, pricing changes, or service expansions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate financial data into clear, operationally relevant insights that guide decision-making.
