About the role

  • Working with aviation related mechanical, electrical, avionics and support equipment
  • Analyzing and evaluating engineering source data, vendor data, and customer data in order to design, prioritize, and develop technical data required to operate and maintain CH47 weapon systems
  • Analyzing and evaluating impact of engineering changes on technical data
  • Developing and implementing maintenance tasks, as well as trouble shooting Procedures and Maintenance Operational Check (MOC’s)
  • Read, interpret & analyze engineering data, tool lists, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) data and supporting databases
  • Will be working extensively with CH47 systems operation and Army maintenance concept
  • Will be working with the CH47 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and Common Authoring Environment (CAE)
  • Will also be working with SLICWAVE - Logistics Support Analyst (LSAR) and MIL-STD13882B Boeing Engineering and Product Support processes
  • Assist with quality reviews and validations, conduct in-process reviews, and support verification
  • Communicate complex technical information to personnel while interfacing effectively with team partners, Integrated Product Team (IPT) members, customers and cross-functional disciplines
  • Position is hybrid and requires some onsite work at Ridley Park, PA or Fort Walton Beach, FL

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in military avionics and/ or mechanical/electrical work
  • 4+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints
  • 4 years of experience testing and troubleshooting avionics
  • 1+ years of experience working with SLICWAVE
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
  • An interim U.S. Confidential Pre-Start and final U.S. Confidential clearance Post-Start is required
  • An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required (also stated in posting)
  • Rotorcraft maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Military Aircraft technical manuals and drawings (preferred)
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and technical publications (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with IPT members, customers, and cross-functional disciplines
