About the role
- Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change-driven activities
- Manage development, production, and sustainment of KC-46 Maintenance Training Systems, including courseware, augmented hardware devices, and Type-1 academic and hands-on training
- Support proposal development by establishing proposal plans, identifying stakeholders, conducting requirement reviews, coordinating functional inputs, validating bases of estimates, and organizing final proposal reviews
- Partner with multiple stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Business Development, Estimating, Finance) to optimize workflow and identify/mitigate risks to execution plans and proposal schedules
- Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
- Direct all phases of projects or subsystems from inception through completion and integrate Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- Perform work with minimal direction, exercise considerable latitude, and develop solutions to complex problems to meet organization objectives
- Contribute to fielding, operations, and maintenance of the KC-46 for the United States Air Force and international allies; support fleet integration and growth
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience with Program Management or Project Management Best Practices
- 1+ years’ experience with Government acquisition and proposal development processes
- 1+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal or informal role
- 1+ years’ experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across functions
- Bachelor degree or higher or equivalent military experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of U.S. Air Force or international government aviation training practices (preferred)
- Knowledge of U.S. Air Force or international government aviation maintenance practices (preferred)
- Experience with U.S. Air Force acquisition process and execution of USAF contracts (preferred)
- Experience with the KC-46A Pegasus or other large, fixed wing aircraft (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project (preferred)
- Must meet export control compliance: be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start required)
