About the role
- Conduct cost and price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data, and parametric models
- Develop strategies and lead price negotiations with suppliers
- Review Statements of Work (SOWs) and develop pricing instructions, matrices, and bid instructions for RFQs/RFPs
- Apply quantitative analysis to develop supplier pricing and analytical models
- Monitor our daily transactional spend for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct financial, operational, proposal, and procedural audits of supplier data and systems
- Develop estimates from historical data, parametric analysis, and technical requirements
- Perform risk and opportunity analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in supply chain management, finance, or program management
- 3+ years’ experience using advanced Microsoft Excel features (including data analysis, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets) and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate data to Senior Leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
- Experience with data collection, preparation, and interpretation (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata Database, Oracle Database and/or Toad/Teradata Studio (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail; able to work independently or as part of a team (preferred)
- Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently (preferred)
- Experience working in multifaceted and diverse teams across multiple disciplines and functions (preferred)
- Experience leading projects with little direct supervision while driving projects to completion (preferred)
