About the role

  • Collaborate with Data Stewards to identify, define, and document data assets, build scalable data pipelines, and migrate data into the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) environment
  • Work with customers to understand their data and migrate their data into the Enterprise Data Management environment, managing data quality and data security
  • Partner with Solution Architects to help design and implement processes for the evolving EDM environment
  • Analyze and verify existing data sources for accuracy and relevance
  • Create detailed, well-structured data models and relationship diagrams
  • Conduct business process analysis using flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and system integration diagrams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and end-users to gather and document data requirements
  • Support the implementation of IT solutions aligned with business needs
  • Partner with quality assurance teams to develop test cases, scenarios, and test plans based on documented requirements
  • Prepare and maintain required documentation, including weekly status reports
  • Perform all work safely and in compliance with environmental obligations using ISMS/EMS
  • Engage with software engineers, project managers, customers, and quality assurance professionals across all levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business or similar) and 5 or more years of IT experience, or an equivalent combination of IT education, training and experience.

  • Candidates may be required to obtain and hold a Secret or Higher US Government Clearance
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Crystal Reports, SSIS
  • Preferred: Experience with medallion architecture
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Preferred: Experience with Synapse, Purview, Notebooks
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) or similar regulatory environment
