About the role
- Join OPIS Development team as a Software Development Intern working with experienced software developers
- Work on front-end, .Net, and/or SQL development depending on skill set and project needs
- Assigned to OPIS Wholesale, Retail, or Internal development teams and collaborate with engineers
- Gain real-world product development experience and participate in the Agile project lifecycle
- Develop, review and deploy code to test and production environments
- Prioritize and manage work to meet project timelines in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Learn and present pros/cons of new technologies for business value, scalability, maintainability, and delivery
- Analyze complex technical problems and present solutions
- Work with a mentor to improve technical and soft skills in a professional environment
Requirements
- Completed at least two years towards a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field
- Familiarity with object oriented programming
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- .Net coding experience (preferred)
- SQL knowledge (preferred)
- Must be available to work June 8, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (internship dates)
- Part-time availability (time type: Part time)
