Support development and execution of trade control (export and import) strategies to enable the business
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners and peers
Learn and understand complexities of diverse businesses and related trade compliance requirements
Support development, implementation and administration of Regulations (EU) 201/821 and country-specific export licenses (Germany, Sweden, Denmark, UK, Poland) throughout the export lifecycle
Identify trade compliance risks and develop mitigation plans
Conduct global regulatory and statutory trade control requirement interpretation and impact analysis
Support data privacy initiatives across Europe and advise on privacy concerns in product development
Research and identify regulatory and legislative requirements and provide comprehensive regulatory solutions to stakeholders
Interface with key stakeholders to enhance strategic alliances
Work on a hybrid schedule with some onsite work at Neu-Isenburg, Germany office
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a role where meticulous attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and quality was paramount
3+ years of experience managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction
3+ years of Trade Control experience (Customs) and knowledge of Regulations (EU) 201/821, German and Poland country-specific requirements
Preferred: 3+ years writing trade control authorities / export licensing
Preferred: 3+ years experience with Regulations (EU) 201/821, German, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, and/or UK country-specific requirements
3+ years participating in compliance assessment activities supporting global trade controls matters
Experience managing a GDPR program
Project management experience
Experience with flight planning software tools
Experience with software/IT and e-commerce backgrounds
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
