About the role
- Manage external supplier relationships and internal stakeholders to ensure first-pass quality and on-time delivery to support BCA production lines
- Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Integrate program, supplier, customer, product, and in-service strategies to ensure production support
- Interpret and enforce contractual terms and conditions
- Conduct rate readiness assessments with suppliers and consult with stakeholders to resolve supplier performance issues
- Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
- Participate on supply chain process improvement teams to identify improvement opportunities for Boeing and suppliers
- Prepare and present business vision, supplier strategies, and program/project status to leadership, peers, suppliers, and customers
- Perform data analysis, forecasting, and demand troubleshooting within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures
- Travel domestically/internationally as needed (around 10%)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement and/or general Business Operations & Strategy
- 3+ years of experience working with suppliers to develop relationships and manage performance expectations
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- 3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
- 3+ years of experience developing and executing strategic plans
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (around 10%)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher or commensurate experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of aerospace or manufacturing procurement experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience using ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills (preferred)
- Must meet export control compliance: must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
