About the role
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service capabilities
- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements
- Heavy collaboration with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or service
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and new sourcing opportunities
- Assist in developing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency
- Heavy coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to provide input on Sourcing’s recommendation and path forward
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% may be required)
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes
- 1+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settings
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- 1+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% may be required)
- Export Control Requirement: Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
