About the role
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
- Perform some work onsite at the El Segundo site as required by hiring team
- May require travel up to 25% of the time
Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working both independently and in team environments
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
- Experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer (preferred)
- Experience working across multiple programs and locations (preferred)
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action (preferred)
- Typically related work experience or relevant military experience
- Must be a “U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (required for export control compliance)
- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense (relocation assistance not provided)
