About the role
- Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Lead negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
- Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions
- Consult with internal business partners to resolve supplier performance issues
- Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
- Participate in supply chain process improvement teams and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support internal business partner requirements
- Consult on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies
- Formalize procurement requirements with internal business partners and lead the supplier negotiation process
- Prepare and execute negotiated documents and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience with the Ariba procurement system
- Must meet export control compliance: be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
