About the role
- Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to proposals, program processes and documentation
- Develop sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements
- Analyze capability assessments to support supplier selection activities
- Participate in reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs
- Perform data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
- Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
- Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
- Compile performance reports and statistical data to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved
- Plan and conduct audits and assessments of supplier systems, processes and products
- Develop and manage supplier quality improvement plans and provide supplier education and coaching on quality systems and regulatory compliance
- Support on-site supplier activities/events and partner with internal Boeing stakeholders and external supplier personnel
- Inspect or verify products for compliance with requirements and assist with assessments of supplier capability and capacity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from relevant field of study (Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, IT, Biology, Environmental Science, Management Science, Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Management in Quality, Life Sciences, Statistics, Aviation Technology, Aviation Maintenance Science, Aeronautics, Aeronautical Science, Astrophysics, Aviation and Aerospace Safety, Aviation Science)
- 1+ year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
- 1+ year of experience in quality management systems (QMS)
- 1+ year of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final) — U.S. Citizenship required
