💰 $100,300 - $135,700 per year
About the role
- Leads the execution of various safety and compliance investigations, certification and validation strategies for engine changes
- Functions as the prime point of contact with relevant engine suppliers
- Handles turbofan engine installations, engine fire safety, turbofan extended operations, system safety assessments
- Collaborates across multiple functions and organizations in a dynamic teaming environment
- Interfaces with suppliers (engine and external components) and certification authorities under 14-CFR-Part 33 and/or Part 25
Requirements
- B.S. Engineering or equivalent field of study
- 3+ years’ experience with engine design, analysis and/or engine fire safety
- 1+ years’ experience collaborating with external entities, such as regulators, airlines and/or suppliers (preferred)
- 14-CFR-Part 33 and/or Part 25 certification familiarity (preferred)
- Familiarity with turbofan engine design, analysis and/or engine fire safety, extended operations (ETOPS), in-service airline fleet support, and system safety assessments (preferred)
- Good Communication Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
