Help us lead the future of commercial aircraft modification in the BGS (Boeing Global Services) EASA Modifications Team.
Support all BGS EASA Modification activities to develop, certify and integrate new interior design solutions such as interior cabin changes, Cargo Handling, Water & Waste Systems and Exterior Liveries.
Work directly with airline and leasing customers while collaborating with BGS global engineering services team across multiple time-zones using variety of 3-D and 2-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and/or other design methods, under the guidance of our EASA Design Organisation Handbook (DOH) across all Boeing aircraft models.
Support the development of innovative aerospace designs and modifications, create detailed design documentation, assist in test plans and procedures.
Collaborate to ensure compliance with EASA/FAA regulations and Part 21J DOA requirements, prepare and review certification documents, participate in certification projects and liaise with regulatory authorities.
Provide technical support to production, testing, and maintenance teams and assist in troubleshooting design and certification issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of aerospace design principles and engineering fundamentals.
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA and 3DExprience) and engineering analysis tools.
Basic knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations and certification processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
Previous internship or project experience in aerospace design and certification is a plus.
